For both Windows and Mac users:

Now this article is aimed to help you enjoy your favorite DVDs and Videos on your iPod.
It includes four parts:
Part 1: How to put DVD on iPod with Cucusoft DVD to iPod Converter
Part 2: How to put Video on iPod with Cucusoft iPod Movie/Video Converter
Part 3: How to put DVD on iPod on Mac OS X with iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter for Mac
Part 4: How to put Video on iPod on Mac OS X with iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter for Mac

Part 1: How to put DVD on iPod
Step 0: Download and install Cucusoft DVD to iPod Converter
Step 1: Place the DVD into your DVD drive.
Step 2: Click the "open DVD" button to load DVD.

Step 3: Select "Direct mode" or "Batch Mode"
"Direct Mode" means that you can directly click the DVD Menu to select the DVD movie you want to rip. This mode is very easy for ripping a movie DVD's.

"Batch Mode" means that you can select the DVD titles/chapters and audio track they want to rip via checkbox list. This mode is very easy for batch ripping Music DVD's, MTV DVD's and Episodic DVD's.

Step 4: Select output format from the "Profile" drop-down list.

Notes:
Click the "…" button at the right of the "profile" drop-down list to set the important parameters: Video Bitrate, Audio Bitrate, Frame Rate and Video Size.
For a high image/sound quality you can increase the value of Video/Audio Bitirate and for a compressed file you can decrease the value.
Step 5:Click the "Convert "button to start the conversion.
In a short while your conversion will be finished.

Part 2: How to put Video on iPod

Step 0:Download and install Cucusoft iPod Movie/Video Converter
Step 1:Click the "Open file" button to add the video files you want to convert.

Step 2:Select output format from the "Profile" drop-down list.

Notes:
Click the "…" button at the right of the "profile" drop-down list to set the important parameters: Video Bitrate, Audio Bitrate, Frame Rate and Video Size. For a high image/sound quality you can increase the value of Video/Audio Bitirate and for a compressed file you can decrease the value.
Step 3:Click the "Convert" button to start the conversion.
In a short while the conversion will be finished.

Part 3: How to put DVD on iPod on Mac OS X

Step 0: Download and install iSkysoft DVD to iPod Converter for Mac(Intel Version or Power PC Version)

Step 1: Click “Load DVD” button to load your DVD, you can also load DVD by clicking “Load IFO” button.
After you add your movie, you can choose any titles or chapters that you want to convert by ticking the check boxes before them.

Step 2: Select output format from “Profile” drop-down list
Clicking “Settings” button to set the video and audio encoding setting.
Step 3: Click "Convert "button to start the conversion.

More editing functions
1.Trim
If you want to convert a clip of your DVD, you can click “Trim” button to open the Trim window and trim the current title or chapter by dragging the Start Time slider and End Time slider to set the start time and the finish time.

2.Crop
Click “Crop” button to remove the black egdes, you can drag the frame around the video or setting the crop values: Top, Button, Left and Right.

Above the crop pane, you can select an output aspect ratio and the available options are: Keep Original, full screen, 16:9 and 4:3. You can preview the video in the select aspect ratio on the main interface during the conversion process.
3.Effect
Click “Effect” button and drag each effect adjustment slider to set the video brightness, contrast, saturation and video volume. You can also choose a special effect from the Effect drop-down list to apply to your movie.

Part 4: How to put Video on iPod on Mac OS X
Step 0: Download and install iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter for Mac(Intel Version or Power PC Version)
Step 1: Click "Add Files" button to add video files to the program.
Step 2: Select output format from “Profile” drop-down list
Clicking “Settings” button to set the video and audio encoding setting.
Step 3: Click “Convert” button to start conversion.
You can just go out for a walk or take a nap, and the conversion may have been finished when you come back: )
